Wish Granting: An opportunity to meet with the wish children. You will discover what a child's wish is and help make that special dream come true.  A one-day training class is required. We have a critical need for Wish Granters as well as bilingual volunteers (Spanish and/or Creole) in all areas we serve.

Speakers Bureau: Share our mission with special interest groups, schools, local corporations, and various service clubs who request speakers. A required training session will teach you about the Make-A-Wish Foundation and how to become a successful speaker. 

Wishmakers: Join a group of individuals who plan special events, monthly socials, and help raise the level of community awareness.    The Wishmakers are currently active in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Lee and Collier counties.

Office Work: Work in our office (Hollywood or Bonita Springs) for a minimum of one 3 hour time slot per week (no minimum in Bonita office). There are a wide variety of jobs to be completed, including filing, envelope stuffing, and some phone work. Office hours are M-F 9am-5pm.  Computer familiarity is a plus.

Airport Greeter: Be the first person to welcome a Make-A-Wish child and family to South Florida. You will meet and greet the family, help them get their luggage and get to their rental car or other pre-arranged transportation. Greeters are needed for airports in: Miami, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Palm Beach, and SW Florida (Lee County).
