Little did the Plantation Junior Woman’s Club know the magnitude of their decision to embark on a service project called “Make-A-Wish” in 1982. With one dinner dance, $13,000 was raised and the seed was planted for what would become the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. As a matter of policy, we do not conduct these types of wishes --including Internet and e-mail requests.
